Part One of Four
Have you ever been through change? Did you welcome it or did you resist it? Change can be hard even when we know it will be better for us in the long run.
Did you make New Year’s Resolutions? How are they progressing? Are they habits now or are you still restarting? Weather they are new habits that are running smoothly or if you caught yourself slipping back and had to restart, I’m proud of you.
That is what life is about. You see something that needs to change and you take steps to change it. If you do this, you are creating your life instead of just reacting to what comes your way.
Change happens in an instant. The instant you realize you need to and take action to make the change. I just have to keep reminding myself that I need it or I slip back into my old ways. I have found by living my life more in the present I do much better with change.
Right now is my chance to make the best possible decision with the information I have right now. I can always change my decision if I get new information.
Right now is my chance to feel gratitude for what I have and where I am. I have found I can’t have gratitude in the future. I need to have it right now. When I like where I am and where I am going, it is easier to keep on track and keep moving forward.
So, if you find yourself going through change; as most of us do on a daily basis, start with now. Ask yourself the following. What does now look like and how do I want my next now to look? Am I grateful for my ability to change and create what I want? What do I want?
I am grateful I have the discipline to make it so. You do too.
Make a change today. Get outside your comfort zone.
Grow and learn and I’ll talk with you again soon,
